6.2 SLSA Equipment Policies
Purpose
To provide guidance relating to the use of SLS equipment.
Overview
Equipment specifications and policies are endorsed by the National Lifesaving Member Advisory Committee. All members have a responsibility to ensure that all policies are followed at all times. The most current versions of these policies are located on the SLSA members portal.
Examples of SLSA policies include:
- Use of SLSA Equipment,
- New and Modified Equipment,
- Gear and Equipment Specifications (Lifesaving),
- SLSA Approved Gear and Equipment Manual,
- SLSA Equipment and Uniform Branding, and
- IRB Outboard Motor Sealing Process.
